All about accommodation in Dalyan.

Been trying to book Ozalp apartments through aliozalp@superonline.com.
Mustafa Ozalp responded to my original enquiry very quickly but since I have subsequently tried to book - no response, and it's been over a week, their website states - usually respond within 72 hrs. Computer problem do you think? :?:

Hi

First time on this site and first time to Dalyan next month (Sept), staying at Hotel Junior Ozalp. It would seem that this is part of the Hotel Ozalp, is that correct?

At the risk of being bombarded (hopefully) with responses, what are the musts while we are there? (must do/must see/must go/must eat). We are two adults in our 40's, no kids (hooray).

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

By the way, we haven't got a transfer from the airport to the hotel booked (overlooked it on the booking form), any suggestions?

Dreamcatcher, Ozalp do transfers, phone Mr Ozalp (Faruk) on 00902522842063, to arrange a pick for you. its cheap. Have a great time. Also arrange your day trips with a Guy called Dale at the Ozalp Turism on the high street (mid way down the high street). He is a Great Guy. Say Kayode mention his name.

ozalp junior

Postby jaydee » Sun Jul 20, 2008 2:10 pm

Just joined the Forum after getting back from Dalyan yesterday for the 2nd year running.

Stayed again at the Junior Ozalp Hotel which we can really recommend. The hotel is clean, the rooms just the right size and the staff are all really helpful to you. Breakfast is a basic Turkish one and there is always plenty available.

It's in a really good location, a couple of minutes from the main town and riverside but mainly undisturbed at night.

We have never gone back to the same holiday resort twice before Dalyan but are seriously thinking of going again next year - and to same hotel. We booked privately this time both for hotel and airport and would also recommend it. Hotel arranged transfers to Dalaman airport. We've still got plenty of restaurants to go to and places still to visit.

Dalyan only seems to be advertised as either a day trip from other local resorts - or the also much advertised Dalyan Transfer. Many people we spoke to coming through on the transfer had no idea how much there was to Dalyan.

villa ozalp apartments

Postby sbalco2 » Sun May 24, 2009 7:29 pm

I am taking my 3 teenage boys to dalyan in august and have booked a villa ozalp apartment, but i am thinking of changing the booking because some of the pools look poor and reports confirm this. Can anyone tell me if it is a good place for older teens and is there a pool table?

We went there in 2007 and are going back in July this year. The pools were fine for our two kids then aged 4 and 7. There is a choice of three or four pools. Ali and Susan are wonderful hosts and their staff are also pretty good. The accomodation is basic but clean and cheap. Dalyan is a good place to go. Pool table, yes there is one over at the bar. Their weekly BBQ's are great and well worth the money.
Dalyan itself has most things you could want on holiday but it is not Marmaris, thank God,. It has discos and pubs if that's what you want but it is not in your face.

Well we had an apartment this time and while it was fine and kept clean, it really lacked a bit in the cooking facilities. The kidney shaped pool was at times full and taken over by large families, who were not even staying in that part of the complex. Hosts as always very pleasant and helpful. Ali's trips as always good value and the new bakery on the corner was a haven for us.
You can however, get a villa in Dalyan with your own pool and decent cooking washing facilities for not much more than you pay at Ozalp. Last year we paid £530 for two weeks, including AC and airport transfers, next year we are going to a villa and paying £620 including AC and transfers.
